The verification workflow
- Legal information — your business's registration details.
- People — shareholders and directors.
- Documents — identity document, proof of address.
- Online presence — website and social profiles.
- OTP verification — by email or SMS.
- Liveness check — a biometric selfie, analyzed automatically.
- Review — a Wajub team member reviews and decides.
Documents are uploaded securely and screened automatically; a risk score is computed from what you submit. If Wajub needs more information, you'll see an inquiry with an integrated messaging thread — respond directly from the Dashboard.
Verifying remotely
The liveness step generates a shareable link — useful when the person who needs to complete it (e.g. a director) isn't the one doing the rest of the setup.
Verification timelines
Review usually takes 1 to 3 business days. You can keep building in sandbox while you wait.
